Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Drawbridge (“we,” “us”), operated by [TODO: legal entity name], collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the Drawbridge service.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything else you share when you book a call, apply for the pilot, or email us.

QuickBooks and financial data. When you connect QuickBooks, and only with your authorization, we access the accounting data needed to provide the service, such as customers, open invoices, due dates, and payment history.

Project documents. Contracts, change orders, pay applications, invoices, notices, lien waivers, correspondence, and delivery records you provide so we can track deadlines and prepare follow-up and lien packets.

Website usage data. If analytics are enabled, basic, aggregated information about how visitors use this website, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked.

How we use information

We use the information above only to:

  • provide, operate, and support the Drawbridge service for you;
  • prepare follow-up messages, deadline reminders, and document packets for your review and approval;
  • respond to you and schedule pilot calls; and
  • understand and improve how this website is used.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your QuickBooks or financial data for advertising.

When information is shared

With your approval. Messages and documents prepared in Drawbridge are sent to a general contractor, owner, attorney, or lien service only after you approve them.

With service providers. We use a small number of subprocessors to run the service, including a cloud hosting provider, an email delivery provider, and a website analytics provider. They process information only on our behalf and under confidentiality and security obligations. [TODO: list current subprocessors or state where the list is published.]

When required by law. We may disclose information if required to comply with law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, ourselves, or others.

Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. After you close your account or end a pilot, we delete or de-identify your QuickBooks data and project documents within [TODO: number] days, unless we must keep them longer to meet a legal obligation.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access limited to the people who need it to provide the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a security incident affecting your information as required by law.

Your choices and rights

  • You can disconnect Drawbridge from QuickBooks at any time, from QuickBooks or by contacting us.
  • You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you.
  • You can opt out of non-essential emails by replying or using the unsubscribe link.
